Petruta is a Romanian law qualified lawyer with over 7 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, M&A, employment law, regulatory, public procurement, and real estate matters covering a wide range of industry sectors including energy, banking and finance, industrial manufacturing, consumer protection and data privacy.

She concentrates her practice in mergers & acquisitions, having assisted clients in transactions, mainly in relation with legal due diligence exercise and pre deal negotiations.

She has assisted Romanian and international investors in connection with the acquisition, construction, and development of energy projects, including renewable energy sourced facilities, as well as with various EPC contracts. Also, she was involved in several projects from the financial services sector, advising in the day-to -day activity on regulatory aspects and has a strong background of expertise in civil law and contracts related matters.

Petruta started her carrier in 2015 with local law office Gusu & Associates (CG Partners), where she was heavily involved in representing an important bank from Romania in enforcement procedures and related litigation, and where she activated for almost 4 years, particularly as a corporate and commercial lawyer.
