Cezar C. Gușu

Cezar is Founder, Co-Managing Partner and Head of the Financing practice of Glodeanu Partners. From 2014 until late 2018 he was the Managing Partner of CG Partners, a law firm he founded, which was in the period 2017 – 2018 the legal arm of Grant Thornton Romania. Before 2014 Cezar was a Partner with a national law firm for more than 7 years.

He continuously advises Clients such as: UniCredit Group, Banca Transilvania, Garanti Bank, Loulis Group, Linde Gaz, Oltchim, Adrem, Proprietatea Fund, Ferratum Bank, Veolia, Dalkia, Gaz Sud, Construcții Erbasu, Nextendis, CCCC, Makyol, Solveo Energie and many other significant players on the Romanian and international markets.

Cezar’s expertise focuses on banking and non-banking financial institutions matters, fiduciary structures, public procurement, and concessions, including EBRD financed procurement, mainly related to energy and other utilities field, M&A, corporate and structuring matters.

He was a contributor to Lexis Nexis chapters on Doing Business in Romania from 2014 to 2018 and had authored several articles on legal subjects.

In the recent years, Cezar expanded his areas of interest getting actively involved in the development of solar energy projects, having a notable success in all his endeavours in this respect.
