Mihaela Ciocirlea

Together with Cezar, Mihaela is our Firm’s Co-Managing Partner and Co-Head of the Corporate M&A practice.

Mihaela started her career in 2008 and has previously worked with two top-tier international law firms with presence in Romania on landmark transactions. Now she is further leveraging her experience gained at premium legal standards by using international knowledge and practice with a more focused personal approach to the service of our Firm’s clients.

With extensive experience on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and commercial matters, as well as employment, data protection, public procurement, state aid and white collar/investigations, Mihaela assisted international strategic investors, investment funds and entrepreneurs alike in major M&A transactions in various industries (from energy to online retail, pharma and chemical industries) and has significant experience in structuring acquisition processes and handling all matters for the preparation, execution and closing of a transaction. She is also advising on day-to-day commercial legal matters for clients, being a trustworthy consultant focused on finding pragmatic and business-oriented solutions and bringing added value to the projects she is involved in.

Mihaela’s unique approach as trusted advisor is given under her entrepreneurial experience, as co-owner of an e-commerce business with operations in the US, thus understanding the needs of start-ups and scalable businesses and knowing how to extract and apply the essence of legal matters.

She is also an active member of the International Young Lawyers Association AIJA, continuingly learning and developing her legal knowledge network through interactions with lawyers from more than 90 different countries.
